new products

These days, I had been creating new products, making samples, testing the colour for print and dye.
It was very long time for me. But new products are coming soon:-).
I made this cushion cover, is selling soon.

They are some my creation tool from my desk. Everyday I bring my small idea notepad. I love blue colour pencil♪

I made pot holders. It looks like house.

I made tag for my printed products.

When I print on fabric, I usually use towel for clean my finger and table.

I quite like these accidentally colour.

Japanese girls day

Tomorrow is Japanese girls day. we normally display a set of dolls which wearing traditional court dress. This is a day to pray for young girl's grows and happiness. This dolls is for my niece, Ami.

It's not traditional doll. But my mother displayed.

And I visited my brother's house.

 She is playing by herself near the dolls.

I went to Tokyo couple of days for workshop and meet people, to visit shop, etc.

This is a exhibition who is Mika Ninagawa, Hiroko Ninagawa. Their work is very colourful, powerful, and beautiful. I enjoyed lots of quilt techniques from Hiroko's work and I felt that people's life is affected by lots of colours. I got stimulus to make positive motivation. It was fun!
Then I went to felmale's exhibition. Title is"love letter".

At that time, letter was very important to communicate to somebody. Because many man had worked as a seaman. To get a letter takes for 2years! I can see the letter was very important part in the life. I could see a lot of lovery paintings.

I took workshop for print. It was really fun. I learnt new techniques.

I love textiles. Because textile has many possibilities. colour, material, texture, lots of things makes new structure, colour, emotion, fun, etc. I am exciting when textiles show me lots of new face.

Mainly my work is hand printing, but I also like some stitch, and manipulation work.
I am interested in vintage and antique material.

 I just want to say that it is beautiful. What will I make.......

I spent 2 days for discharge print. I tried to get exactly the colour, but it was really hard. My small studio (previous my bed room) is very smelly. I open my window but outside is -8℃..... It's so cold.....

These are my friend's order pouch.

I feel time is very quickly. There are lots of mistakes. I need to make again again and again.  I can't make many things I imagined. But I think I can do more. I used to do that than before.
